Happy Halloween

Halloween Week
Peyton dug right in this year.
Her comment: Ooooohh Gooey, pick out the seeds so we can hatch them.
Yes, she sat on them and tried to hatch them.
DJ didn't think much of the mess.
His comment: NO and pointed with the intent of "You do it"

Peyton offered some assistance to DJ. She told him he has to practice.

Okay, he tried it.

He was much happier riding Peyton's tractor around while she was busy with the pumpkins.
She carved, she painted, we cleaned them off and she re-painted.
DJ had more fun playing, no interest in painting, unless I was going to let him taste it.
The trick or treaters at the MN Zoo.
The HallZOOWeen members event was fun for the kids.
We all dressed up, the kids got lots of toys and treats.
There is a Cameron, In Wisconsin, Driving a Ford, Expedition
Yes, this was going down the road, those people had no clue we were taking pictures.

A stop at Peyton's fave park.
"The Red Park"
DJ wasn't too sure about the slides, he'd rather climb.

Cam and the squirrel became friends at The Red Park

Kind of a cool picture.
A day of relaxation and site seeing wouldn't be complete without checking out some form of Ford to make his next project.

The Farmer
The Chicken
The Cowboy Girl
The Cow
Happy Halloween
Sidebar:
Grandma Lois wore a crown and had a magic wand on Halloween.
The wand made Peyton and DJ's treat magically appear behind the pilgrims.
Peyton is so lucky! She got to bring the magic wand home!
~ Two days later ~
Standing at the stove, making supper
Peyton, almost in tears
Crown on
Wand in hand
"Ma Ma, it doesn't work.....it's not bringing me new toys!"
Me: What?
Peyton: See, watch (she closes her eyes and points the wand at a pile of old toys that were intended to be traded for new toys) she says "Abba Cadabba Ra"
"See Ma Ma, it doesn't work"
Now she is in tears.
Me: Here, call your Grandma, handing her the phone.
Grandma laughed, so hard I think she cried too.
~ A week later~
Grandma stops at the house.
Peyton hands Grandma the wand and says:
"It doesn't work"
(FYI: Christmas is 6 weeks away)
