Happy 2nd Birthday DJ!

Happy 2nd Birthday DJ!
We started the day with a ladybug cake at Bullet's Daycare.

Wow, what excitement. He was shaking he was so excited!

Then we ended the day with a cake at home. He cheered for himself everytime he blew out the candles.

Here DJ is telling me what is on his cake.

Thank goodness he recognized that red thing as a tractor!

The decorator at the bakery obviously didn't know what a tractor really looked like, the cab should be above the back wheels. Oh well, as long as he seen the creativity in it.

Of course you have to take a lick to be sure it tastes okay before letting everyone else try it.

He even gave the cow a kiss!

Quality Dad time! Helping add lights to the trailer.

Now here is a bad day for you!

The night the kids helped fix this trailer above, my camera battery died.

So I went in the house to charge it knowing that we were pulling the next day in Hastings.

Go to plug the charger in.......poof......that's it! No more camera. Toasted that baby!

Okay, now, do you know what it is like to go without a camera??? Wow, that is punishment!

I bought a new camera today......a loooonnnnnggggg week to wait.

I haven't used it yet but I love it already.

Thanks Mom for letting me borrow your camera so I didn't miss my little buddies 2nd Birthday!

What a wonderful little family I have.

Walking through the Summer Car Craft Nationals at the State Fairgrounds.

Where is Dad?
Anyone seen Dad?

Daddy, where are you?

I can hear you, but where are you?
They found him! He is in the floor!

DJ tried to pull him out!

You should have seen them jump when Cam's hand came up through the floor!!

My little hayseed.

She is all personality.

"Cool"

That is DJ's latest and greatest added to the vocabulary.

June and July ~ Days Gone By

There is no better way to spend the day than in W~A~T~E~R!

How does this work?? I couldn't take a picture of them on thier butts when they slipped and fell. "Mom! I slipped and fell!" ......"That is why they call it a slip-n-slide!".....Thanks Tyler for showing them how it was done, I am not sure that I wanted to show them myself.

DJ getting his hookup for the next month! Candy.....Candy....Candy

Notice DJ is putting his 1/2 ate sucker back in the bag. You can imagine what that bag looked like!! Peyton is practicing her Princess wave.

Dancing at the Cannon Fair on July 1st. There were originally only two girls up there and then one of the older girls cam up with Ella to help her dance. Peyton did her entire routine, by herself! I am so proud of her!

Proud!!!
The storm this past Friday was pretty intense! Cam was home and able to take some pictures. This is the river that ran down our ditch toward the creek.

Our creek, which at normal levels you could almost step across.

How on earth did Cam get this shot? Really?! The deer were even running for cover that day.

What a great weekend we had in Tomah!

Three E.R. Visits and one vacation within one week.

Monday - DJ dove off the couch head first onto a ceramic tile floor. At work only 10 minutes and I am heading back home to take him in. A goose egg was the end result, broken blood vessels being the cause.

Tuesday - Cam wakes up with a bite on his ankle, claims it hurts, by the end of the day, he says it really, really hurts

Wednesday - pack for Tomah, take Cam to E.R. - he can't walk! His ankle is that bad! One antibiotic later and 4 hours in the E.R., they still don't know what it was but it appears to have become a skin infection

Thursday - Tomah! Tomah! Tomah!

Monday - Spending time with my kids, pushing them on the swingset. Peyton decides to reach for her feet while up in the air, she falls out of the swing, head first! From at least 4 feet in the air. She hung for a split second and then the straps gave way. She landed on her head, then shoulder, her butt cam back over her and smacked her in the head. Bent in a U shape, backwards. She was knocked out. I can't express how quickly it all happened and how quickly I thought I lost my daughter forever, and then I realized she was responding and couldn't express how I was certain she was paralyzed from the neck down. An E.R. Visit, an MRI to the head, MRI to the face, X-Ray'd collar bone, X-Ray'd arm and X-Ray'd ribs.........she is okay! Nothing broke, just sore. WOW! Anybody want a free swing! I will never use a swing like that again!!

Days are going fast

Peyton is in training to become a tow truck driver. A proud Daddy moment, she ran the controls while he managed the next adventure for the Berg bunch.

A "Good Job" moment from Daddy

1:00 am - "Mommy.......Momma......Mommaa........"

1:15 am - I take him out to the couch, he falls asleep, I leave him there

5:30 am - This is the position I found him in.

Pigging out at her fave place - Famous Daves (Thanks for dinner Cam!)

A little treat of cotton candy at the Zoo

The Cat in the Hat Knows Alot About That!

DJ! That sign right there says "Do Not Climb" Please, get down!

Ok, I will take a quick picture. Now get down!

Playing in the long awaited water park at the zoo. A rainy cold day, but they still played. We have been to the Zoo three time in the last two months, finally they opened the water play area.

A little instigating from his sister.......
