June and July ~ Days Gone By

There is no better way to spend the day than in W~A~T~E~R!

How does this work?? I couldn't take a picture of them on thier butts when they slipped and fell. "Mom! I slipped and fell!" ......"That is why they call it a slip-n-slide!".....Thanks Tyler for showing them how it was done, I am not sure that I wanted to show them myself.

DJ getting his hookup for the next month! Candy.....Candy....Candy

Notice DJ is putting his 1/2 ate sucker back in the bag. You can imagine what that bag looked like!! Peyton is practicing her Princess wave.

Dancing at the Cannon Fair on July 1st. There were originally only two girls up there and then one of the older girls cam up with Ella to help her dance. Peyton did her entire routine, by herself! I am so proud of her!

Proud!!!
The storm this past Friday was pretty intense! Cam was home and able to take some pictures. This is the river that ran down our ditch toward the creek.

Our creek, which at normal levels you could almost step across.

How on earth did Cam get this shot? Really?! The deer were even running for cover that day.

What a great weekend we had in Tomah!

Three E.R. Visits and one vacation within one week.

Monday - DJ dove off the couch head first onto a ceramic tile floor. At work only 10 minutes and I am heading back home to take him in. A goose egg was the end result, broken blood vessels being the cause.

Tuesday - Cam wakes up with a bite on his ankle, claims it hurts, by the end of the day, he says it really, really hurts

Wednesday - pack for Tomah, take Cam to E.R. - he can't walk! His ankle is that bad! One antibiotic later and 4 hours in the E.R., they still don't know what it was but it appears to have become a skin infection

Thursday - Tomah! Tomah! Tomah!

Monday - Spending time with my kids, pushing them on the swingset. Peyton decides to reach for her feet while up in the air, she falls out of the swing, head first! From at least 4 feet in the air. She hung for a split second and then the straps gave way. She landed on her head, then shoulder, her butt cam back over her and smacked her in the head. Bent in a U shape, backwards. She was knocked out. I can't express how quickly it all happened and how quickly I thought I lost my daughter forever, and then I realized she was responding and couldn't express how I was certain she was paralyzed from the neck down. An E.R. Visit, an MRI to the head, MRI to the face, X-Ray'd collar bone, X-Ray'd arm and X-Ray'd ribs.........she is okay! Nothing broke, just sore. WOW! Anybody want a free swing! I will never use a swing like that again!!
