I Love My Kids

Tuesday morning the trees in the yard were so pretty. I love it when they get like this.

"I have to go potty mom"
"Okay, hurry up get to the bathroom"
"My take my pants off, ok mommy"
"Ok, hurry up, you don't want to have an accident"
"No, my need my paci, mommy"
"Ok, grab it and hurry up so you don't have an accident"
"Wait, my need that too"
"What?"
"That"
"What?"
"My need to read mommy!"
"Oh, you are silly"
"No, my Peyton!"
The things we do to get them to go potty.
Some days I feel so close and then the next day I feel like we are getting no where.

Peyton and I made Daddy a cake. She was the first to taste test it.
She rubbed her belly and said "mmmmm mmmmm good"

A little personality from Peyton!

Peyton gave DJ a kiss without even being asked. We just asked her to put her arm around him. Look at the pride in big sisters eyes!

I am laying on the floor right next to DJ in this one, what a good (lucky) shot.

~I LOVE MY KIDS~
Look at me! I can sit all by myself.
DJ started to sit by himself this week.
He also started rolling over.
And he is actually attempting to get to his knees and move around.
Not wasting any time, that is for sure.
Tomorrow I am taking Peyton to Sesame Street Live, featuring Elmo. She is so excited and I am excited to have a day alone with my little girl.
DJ is spending the day with Gina. Lucky guy!!

Christmas Catchup

Cam is at the Vikings Game, perfect time for me to clean.....or post on the blog.

Okay, I just went through my last couple of weeks worth of pictures and realized that I have obviously been neglecting this blog a little bit. So here comes the catch up post!!

Here is Danny at 4 months. 18 lbs 13 oz & 26" long. He is laughing at Cam in this picture.

We cut down the Christmas tree at a tree farm just to the east of Kenyon. We initially went to Hampton Hills and found nothing, the trees are getting pretty picked over. I may have to switch to a different type of tree for a while, or simply stop being so picky.

Here is Peyton's reaction after Cam cut the string on the tree. She has a mouthful of Monster Cookie, just like her Dad!! Ha Ha.

I have to put some of the tree decorating contest from the Berg Family Christmas on here, what a great idea Lois!! This was fun to watch. And, really, did you expect to see Curt allowing his family to decorate him as a Christmas tree without a little influence of alcohol.
Shirley looks like she is having a blast.

Here Peyton is playing with her 2nd Cousins.

My Dad got a new "Field Agent" sweatshirt, we told him to show us the back of it and look back at the camera, well, this is what I got. The butt sticking out and all, sexy.

Checkout the excitement in Peyton's eyes as she is opening a present from Gina.

The whole family, Megan, Emma, Cam, Danny, Erica, Peyton, Santa, Kahlan, Kelly, Mom, Dad, Karlee, Dean, Gina and Bryce.

Peyton got a scooter from Santa. She rides it all the time and yells, "Thanks Santa!!"

Happy New Year!! I am looking forward to 2010.

Santa

We went to the bank last weekend and SURPRISE! Santa was there. I didn't know it. Peyton was so excited, we walked in and she was sleeping, by the time I set her down to take her jacket off she was wide eyed and whispering "santa claus". She was amazed, it was really him. Of course, she stiffened like a rock when I tried to put her on his lap!!
DJ had his 4 month appointment last week. He weighs 18 lb s 13 oz. 26" long.

He is in the 97th percentile for weight and 85th percentile for height. The doctor said "he is a 4 month old in a 9 month old body"! My little "spud" or "sprout" whichever you want to call him.

Christmas at Grandma Regenschieds this Sunday, can't wait for that yummy dinner.

Singing and Laughing

Here is Peyton singing Happy Birthday to her Daddy, till she realized I started taking a video and she changed it to Mommy. Cam's Birthday was Nov 21, so she has birthday on the brain.

Peyton loves to sing, she loves cartoons now too. For so long I couldn't get her to watch 15 minutes of TV so I could shower and now all I hear is "Turn my cartoons on" or "Daddy turned my cartoons off!"

I drove thru town Tuesday night and Peyton said "Look at em all Mom, look at em". What on earth??? "Kissmass Lights Mommy" "Santa Claus" "Lots of em" She loves the lights this year, I am really going to enjoy Christmas with her this year.

DJ is laughing and talking so much, it still amazes me how much they learn, grow and change every day. He will be 4 months tomorrow! Already. He pulls himself up if you have him reclined back, trying to sit up to see everything. Strong little guy.

The Berg Christmas is this Sunday, looking forward to seeing all of the family.

With any luck, we will be cutting down the Christmas tree on Saturday.

Cherish every moment as if it were your last.

I can do it myself

Give me that thing, I can do it myself!

I don't care how many towels you put around me, there will still be milk in my neck, but I can do this myself, leave me alone!

Eating Sweet Corn with Grandma and Gina on Saturday.

Lois threw a baby shower for Landon and DJ. This was one of the games we played. Holding a phone and a baby (gorilla) you had to hang as many diapers on the clothes line as possible, within 1 minute. We had a good time.

Thank you to everyone who came and all the wonderful gifts, I can't believe the generosity.
Thank you!!
Go Shirley, Go!

Last Saturday Mom, Gina and I took the kids and went to pick up the info for the families we are helping out this Christmas and then of course we went to the Harley dealer and then the mall, we had a fun day together.

Saturday night we went to a "final, final" at the Eilens, he touched so many lives, there were quite a few people there.
Rest in Peace Jake - We all miss you so much.

Here are a couple of DJ's 3 month pictures, and the family pic is a bonus.

These pictures scanned darker than the actual picture. The color must be funny in the scanner or something.

Yes, my 3 month old is wearing a 6-9 month outfit.
Peyton fell down right after this picture, so after this one, she didn't trust that white sheet behind her so this is the only shot of the 2 of them together.
A good family pic, again, this is really dark compared to the real thing. Oh well.
Thanksgiving this week! Already!
Friday Shopping, I am starting my game plan already!
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, I hope you are all able to spend it with family.
