Dear DJ ~

It has been one year since the morning I woke your Dad up and told him to take a shower, no rush, but I think your going to meet your son today. You were two weeks early, believe me, I was okay with that! As I look over at you while writing this letter you are standing on top of your learning center rather than leaning on it, you grin from ear to ear in a way that tells me not to worry, you won't fall down. Looking back on the first year you:

1. Started to roll at 3 months

2. Sat on your own at 6 months

3. Got your first tooth at 7 months

4. Crawled on your own at 9 months

5. Stood on your own at 10 months

Today you:

1. Have no problem fighting back when your sister upsets you

2. Are able to unroll a brand new roll of toilet paper, all the way down to the cardboard!

3. Have 6 teeth

4. Have taken a couple of steps on your own

5. Are able to pile all of the dogs toys into his water dish

6. Sing yourself to sleep

7. Climb everything and anything you can possibly find

8. Drink all your sisters juice before she catches you

9. Pull Mens chest hair like a champ

10. Prefer to be with Daddy or Grandpa over Mom or Grandma

11. Have 7 cousins (Kelli, Brittany, Emma, Megan, Tyler, Karlee & Kahlan)

12. Able to unfold an entire basket of laundry within seconds

13. Empty cupboards even faster than doing the laundry

14. Change the channel and reprogram the TV to a point of no return

15. Shut the computer off in the middle of my work

16. Best of all, still love to snuggle with me.
