At night, if Peyton disappears and is quiet, this is where I find her.
I woke her up when I took the picture.
The bus is just about done! Cam painted it Friday night, did finishing touches on Saturday. All that is left is getting the rest of the chairs on the inside and it is ready to go for this Saturday!! He did a great job on the paint.
Check out the new shutters for the playhouse! Grandma Peggy made them.
We pull Saturday in River Falls! I will be sure to post pictures next week. I hope everything goes well.
I am thinking about going to buy one of those harness leash type things for Peyton. Any opinions, suggestions??
I would rather have her on a leash, for lack of a better word, than to get run over or chase her constantly.
What do you think?
My 26 week appointment is tomorrow. Time is flying!
Have a great week!

We have one of those leash things. The bear one, it's cute. You can borrow it if you want. I don't foresee using it anytime soon. I only used it a few times with Mercedez. She didn't mind it. But boy did I get looks from people like I was treating my kid like an animal. I would much rather have the harness on my child than her getting run over. Good luck! -Holli
Thanks Holli! I just went to Babies R Us and there were only 2 options, a harness with a back pack on it or a wrist "leash", for lack of a better word. I bought the wrist one and the lady in the checkout said, your putting your child on a leash. I told her, "No, I am saving her from being run over or kidnapped". We will see if Peyton will let me put this thing on her wrist???
You SO know she's going to fall to the ground screaming when she realizes she's tethered to you. And THEN she'll be a child on a leash. That moment when she pulls it right to the end and falls down screaming, leaving you look like the mom who is pulling her around.
Just sayin'.
I have thought about those in the past. I have decided against them. If I buckle my child in the stroller, so they can't wiggle out, They only cry until they realize you're not giving in. In Jo's case usually less than 5 minutes. Then she stays put. SAFE.
At the same time I do not judge parents who use them. I know it's a safety issue. Just not my choice.
Good Luck! Have fun at the pull!
Oh, and I was gonna say...
No going back in the name now, it's been carved in stone, or wood anyway!
Ha Ha! Looks Good! Love the new shutters and the name!
I agree with putting them in a stroller vs the teather, but I can't expect her to sit in a stroller at the pull from 11 am till midnight. I have to let her run around.
