How do YOU eat an Oreo?

Step 1: Climb on Dad's "easy chair" when he is not looking
Step 2: Find Dad's Oreo's that are hidden on the table by the "easy chair"
Step 3: Start to take Oreo out of package, once Mom realizes what is going on she will help me get it out, since she doesn't want me to take all of them....sneaky turd.
Step 4: Work vigorously to get the 2 cookies separated
Step 5: With any luck the frosting is all on one side, but double check both cookies for any evidence of frosting.
Step 6: Yell "Petie"
Step 7: Toss the side of the cookie without frosting to Petie
Step 8: Clean ALL of the frosting off of the other side of the cookie
Step 9: Continue to double check for any frosting that may have been missed
Step 10: Take one last lick to be sure all frosting is gone
Step 11: Yell for Petie if he actually left, which is doubtful being he knows the next step
Step 12: Toss the frosting free but gooey cookie to Petie
Step 13: Try for another, but Mom is hard to get past a 2nd time

I snapped a couple pic's of this process last night. She doesn't look so good, she hasn't been feeling well, but I still had to post it.
I asked Cam:
How do YOU eat an Oreo
He Answered:
All at once

The Boys Are Home

Here is Bret, hooking up to the sled at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY.
Give Her All You Got!!

Well, it sounds like they had a good time!

Bret got 4th in the Finals on Saturday night! That is awesome!

This Ford is Cam's fave - he got to talk to him a little bit too.

Peyton sure was happy to have her Dad home. On Saturday, she sat in the entry way with his work boots, crying, for about an hour. All she would say is "Daddy Ho" which means Daddy Home! She was in a deep sleep when he came home and the second she heard his voice, she was awake and in his arms.

Like Father, Like Daughter

This past weekend Cam changed the oil in the Explorer and rotated the tires, but not without Peyton!
He first swept the floor, but not without Peyton!
And then he took the plug out of the oil pan, but not without Peyton!

Then he started taking the tires off to rotate them, but not without Peyton!

She went as far as spinning the lug nuts on the wheel studs and putting the hub caps back on.

She laughed at the impact loosening the nuts, laughed!

This is definitely Cam's child.

Bandit has been adopted, whew!!

The weekend

Friday I went to the doc for my 12 week appointment, heartbeat was good and strong, around 165 beats per minute. We have to decide by the next appointment whether or not we want to do the genetic testing, I am going to pass. The doctor seemed surprised that I am passing on it, I didn't do it for Peyton and really, if there is something wrong, what will I do about it? Any opinions out there? Curious what you think.

I went up to my mom's on Saturday to get Peyton's snow pants and boots to take her sliding, got home and realized we do not have a sled, ugh, my heart was in the right place my mind just wasn't working.

Saturday night we went to the Rodeo at the Excel, it was a good time. Out of 15 bull rides only 2 cowboy's stayed on for 8 seconds, that kind of stunk, but they are on the end of their tour so I can just imagine how beat up they all already are. We had dinner at the BonFire in Eagan, it was good but not as great as it usually is. You can catch the Rodeo on Spike TV Thursday nights, it is the World's Toughest Cowboy. They make reality TV out of everything these days. The cowboys are competing for their own ranch in Wyoming. They have to ride bare back, saddle bronc and bulls.

Sunday we stayed home, not feeling on top of things so we relaxed most of the day. There was a knock at our door around 11:30 am, a girl came through the door asking to use the phone she had just crashed down the road. Weird, right?! She did, she went off the road and rolled her car. She walked to our house for help. She is a student at St. Olaf and was on her way home to Chicago. She is okay, Cam took her to the hospital, slight concussion and hurt her hand a little. She is so lucky to be alive. Once again, we are reminded how short life really is and how important it is to be thankful for the family and Friends we are surrounded by.

What good is a post without a picture of Peyton! Right! In the pic above she is at my Mom's house, she takes the chair and puts it up to the counter and climbs right on up. Here she is going to do the dishes. She knows right where to push that chair dependent on whether she wants a drink, nuk or a snack! She is growing so darn quick.
Oh, she starting brushing her teeth now too, she does pretty good!
As soon as I can get her to cook and clean I will be set!!
