Happy Birthday Peyton
~ One Year Old ~
Happy Birthday Peyton!! I cannot believe a year has already passed. You have grown so much. You have learned so much. It feels like just yesterday I was waking up your Dad to go to the hospital and we finally got to meet you at 6:31 am, your tiny little hands and feet, your perfect little cry and beautiful dark hair. Oh, those eyes, we got to see your gorgeous eyes right away, you were ready to conquer this new world. I can't imagine a day going by without seeing your smiling face and sense of humor. Happy Birthday Baby!
We love you, Mom & Dad
Here is a video of her last Sunday, the 24th, almost walking.
And then on Tuesday the 26th, her very first steps. You can hear my excitement.
Now she is walking a lot more than crawling. It is amazing how quickly they learn and seeing the excitement in their eyes when they figure all this neat stuff out.
We went to the nursing home in CF to celebrate Grandpa Nicolai's birthday. Grandma was throwing the party for him. It was nice to see all of the family. Here is a picture of Peyton and her Great Grandpa Nicolai sharing frosting off the cake on his Birthday. She was putting her fingers in the frosting and then feeding it to Grandpa, he would lick it off her fingers. It was so precious that I missed the photo op!!
Grandpa had to get on the floor to try out his new shoe horn from Julie and her family.
Peyton with her Great Grandpa and Grandma Nicolai and Grandma Peggy.
Do you want some sweet corn??
Happy Birthday Peyton, Grandpa Nicolai, and Gina!!
I still have to post pics of Peyton's racing weekend with Gina too!!
Have a great Labor Day weekend!
