A beautiful Sky At Night ~ Sailers Delight

Spring 2012 Dance Recital
Taking some pointers from Dad before giving it the good ol' push.
I did it!

Again, pointers from Dad....
Patiently waiting for the ball to get to the pins!
A little family competition never hurts anyone.
Cam kept looking over to be sure he was beating his Mother!
Ha! She kicked his butt!
Well, actually I don't know for sure, but she probably did!
 Teamwork
DJ is steering
Kelly has the gas pedal covered
Larry is saying "no, not that way, go the other way, oh, turn around".....The Commentator
Peyton picked out some pretty flowers to give to her favorite dancer.
Cousin Megan.
First Fair of 2012.
This was in Eleva, WI.

 DJ on the slide.
She is growing up on me. She did the slide by herself.
A truck pulling romance, wink, wink.....
Notice she has her Dad's fire shoes on!!??
 One door closes, another opens.

 First pool excursion for 2012.
The slide has become a jumping bag.

My little girl is actively playing soccer!
And let me tell you!
She can kick that ball.
Now we just gotta get them kicking it in the right direction.
Each team scored on themselves.
I guess we can call it a tie.

Graduate!

She is a graduate!
A Preschool Graduate!

Here she finally found Cam and I in the crowd, tha place was packed.

Proudly displaying the Diploma!

Peyton with her teacher: Ms Renee Roberston

A day of fun for my little girl and I.

First was the Graduation Ceremony.
Then a trip to downtown St. Paul to shop at Macy's and visit Candyland.
Lunch at Chuck E Cheese and she is a NATURAL at Skee Ball. We could have played all day!
Then a visit to Mom's work where she received a standing ovation when she walked in.
Then on to Cannon Falls to dance in the streets.

A proud little girl
And an even more proud Momma!

Sunday has become my favorite day of the week.
All Family Day.
We went to Peyton's favorite park in Lake City to feed the ducks.
Then on to the State park in Frontenac.
There is a barge in the background, just can't see it. Oh well, we tried.
 Love, Love, Love!
 Princess!
 Muscles!
Here ~ DJ had a good smile
Here ~ Peyton had her best shot.
Put the two together and imagine it.

I'm the Rhinestone Cowboy?

 Venus and Jupiter!
No, not the house, or the trailer or the yard light.
Look in the sky!
That is Venus and Jupiter.
The brighter one to the right is Venus, say Hi!
The less dominant one to the left is Jupiter! Hey Jupiter!
My husband attended this concert with me.
Trace Adkins is serenading me in this picture.
Cam just says "send a check every week"
That means I can go!
 A little hip action
A nice smile. He was so happy to see me!
Dinosaurs!
Cool!
Peyton was gutsy and touched his tooth!
Notice how she is looking up at him to be sure he isn't going to snap her finger off.
DJ wasn't about to give that dinosaur his hand. If he is hungry he is going to have to eat another little kid, not DJ, not today anyway.
Checking out the turtles.
 Ok, don't move
Be very quiet
Maybe they won't see me
 Ahh, what was that noise?
He is huge! His mouth opens "this big"
This guy had smaller teeth and DJ grew some confidence!
Digging for fossils
Ahh, this guy is more my size, I can hold him in one hand!
 Walk like a duck?
This is what I got when I said
"Walk like a duck"
Hmmmm, where does this path go?
Ok, one picture of the three together, in case we aren't able to get back out of this place!
 And they are off......
 Look!!
Deer tracks!
 A bridge.
Tyler can reach it, no problem.
Peyton, similar to her Dad, can't be shown up.
She steps over a little bit and she can reach too!
Tarzan and Jane on the vines.
Tyler found a stump, to take a break.

Going up the big hill
Peyton says "This tree is rusty".
"Take a picture for Daddy"

Wait a minute, which way are we going?
Who is leading this pack?
A little help back down the hill from her Tyler.
Oh, now Peyton found the stump to take a break.
Tree hugger.
We were listening to the birds.
I told them to act like the bird that we could hear singing.
Isn't that a chicken?
That looks like a mad chicken
Run little birdy, the chickens will get you!
Trail, conquered!

I sent this email to my Dad today:
Peyton colored you a picture last night. Her choice, she picked it out and picked the recipient.
The funny part. It is 3 girls (Barbie) on the beach in bikini’s.
Funnier yet. She put in the in the envelope, sealed it, put her hands up in accomplishment and said “Grandpa Doc is going to open this up and say, What the Hell!”

This kid, I tell ya.

Today:
I dropped both kids off at Bullets for daycare.
Peyton in a black cowgirl hat walking nicely
DJ in a pink sparkly cowgirl hat pretending to ride a horse up the sidewalk.
DJ gets in the house, waves his hat in the air and says "Yee Haw, Ride em Cowboy"
Is he the Rhinestone Cowboy?
That is Cams wonder thought of the day.
