She says she is BORED!

Since the oatmeal was put out of reach, DJ found the next best thing to spread out all over the kitchen.....bread crumbs!
Getting ready to go to work in Daddy's boots.

Looking at little wore out, those boots must be heavy.

"Mom, I really am sick of that snow"
"I want to go pulling and to see monster trucks and to the beach to cool off in the water"
We did our best with a bath "pool" party.

DJ danced and laughed and clapped and cheered at the Sesame Street Live show.

DJ couldn't resist Peyton's froggy boots.

Is that Cam's Kid under that hat?

Oh, that is my kid in that shirt!

Playing school, at home.

Hey Cowboy!
We went to Oscars for breakfast last weekend.
DJ was snuggling up to Cam.
The waitress (hottie) thought that was kind of cute.
Cam says "Hey Baby" and nods.
DJ says "Hey Baby"
So DJ's first two words together were: Hey Baby!
Really, is this what I have to look forward to?
I will admit, it was cute as ever, and everyone did hear it and enjoyed it.
But, really, "Hey Baby", Ugh.

"Post something new to your Blog. I am Bored"

That is the email I got today while I stopped at my desk for a five minute break from budget meetings, open enrollment meetings, stolen trailer meetings, FSA meetings, HSA meetings, high deductible health insurance meetings and payroll company meetings, oh, yeah, four-o-one kay meetings too. Ha, I just had to spell 401k out because that is the kind of strange frustrating silly day I had today.

5 am - alarm goes off

5:30 am - alarm goes off for the 3rd time

6:20 am - okay, I guess I better stop hitting the snooze button

6:40 am - I have 10 minutes to do my hair, get Peyton's packpack ready for school, wake the kids up, get them ready and out the door, oh crap, gotta make Cam's lunch too.

6:45 am - Snuggle Cam in an effort to get him to wake up, rubbed his back for five minutes and his feet for two minutes, now I am really going to be late

7:10 am - Cam helps get the kids ready, and out the door we go. 20 minutes behind schedule

7:35 am - Drop Peyton off at school in tears, ):

7:50 am - Drop DJ off with Bullet, happy as can be (;

8:15 am - arrive at work, 15 minutes late, everyone is too busy to notice, whew

8:15 am to 10:00 am - listen to co-worker yell across the room with a mouth full of her breakfast. Cringing the entire time

10:00 am - question another co-worker about the post office, she straight up lies to me to cover her butt. Really cringing and kind of aching in frustration.

10:10 am - snap at another co-worker out of frustration - apologize immediately

10:15 am - apologize again for snapping

10:30 am - Prep for meetings to intro the high deductible health insurance plan with HSA to employee's.

11:30 am - Go to lunch, treat myself to a cheese burger from DQ!!

11:35 am - realize that the cheeseburger is really a NACHO cheeseburger. AAAAAHHHHH! That is like going to the bakery for a Custard Donut and Getting JELLY!!!!

That is just till Noon, you can just about imagine the rest of the day.

Dear Friend ~

I am posting to my blog tonight, while supper is on the stove, DJ is emptying ALL of the books from the bookshelf and Peyton is telling him to stop or she will spank him. Oh, now she is helping him remove the books. But, it is very much worth it to get this blog updated. I know that someday my kids will enjoy looking back at this and I should really be better about updating it more often so there is never a void in those little lives of theirs. I truly appreciate the reminder. Now, as for your being bored, thank you for pointing that out, I will be sure to send you plenty of work so we do not have to worry about you accidentally closing your eyes for fifteen minutes and catching the winks of sleep that I desperately need on days like this. I hope you are laughing out loud at your desk while you read this because you know that I am going to do it all over again tomorrow. An update on the kids, DJ has now emptied ALL of the stuffed animals onto the floor too, so now I think every inch of the carpet is covered. Back to you, so what is the plan for this weekend? Do you want to go to the Zoo? I was thinking about taking the kids to the Zoo on Saturday afternoon, you know, burn off some energy and maybe see how well mannered the animals are vs. The Boy and The Girl. Oh no! Petie is eating the play doh the kids forgot to put away, thank you so much for giving them the play doh, they really do love it, but they aren't very good at putting it away. Did you know that Cam sent in that kit we talked about a week ago, hopefully we will know something within a week or two, answer a lot of questions, I hope. You know that I love you, even though when under the influence you tend to beat me up. I don't think I am going to proof this letter either, I just wunged it. Till next time, remember that I love you and I don't know what I would do without you. Thank you for being you. You put a smile on my face even when I am drowning at my desk.

Have a great day~ Erica

Peyton - sleeping, we thought!

Hah! She fooled us!

Haven't laughed that hard in a while.
(PS Friend: I did spell check this post and it didn't recognize "wunged", you win, I surrender)

Christmas ~ Berg Style

Ho Ho Ho ~ Merry Christmas!
Bryce got a big chunk of coal, that lucky guy!
Santa visited with gifts for everyone.

Peyton was shocked when she answered the door
She turned to Cam and whispered
"It's SAAAAANNNNNTTTTAAAA!!!!"

All but 1 of Rita's great grand kids ~ Jo was a little shy
They all have red-eye in this picture
I didn't fix it, it is kind of fitting for the rest of the Regenscheid pictures.
The devil in them all. No, not literally, but they are all devious.

~Cold Hard Evidence~
DJ ~ Caught red handed with the Gingerbread man, which appears to be missing a chunk from his head, a juice bag in the other hand and headed for the tractor to escape to privacy. Peyton and her goofy cousins, making faces for the family picture of Rita's Great Grandchildren.
You will see in a later picture where they get it from.

Her first dance recital.

The artist with the Gingerbread man before he was cookie-napped.

Making puppy chow with Grandma Lois.
Celebrating Christmas with my family is the best.
I couldn't ask for better people in my life.

A snowy evening at home.
Yes, the snow was covering the lights on my fence.

Yahoo!! I got a new tractor for Christmas!
I am the king of the world!

Peyton went on the kids shopping spree at the library this year.
She picked out gifts for the whole family.

Bullet and her kissing Harley riders.

The Regenscheids.

Now really......
They are all goofy and their kin isn't too far behind them.
We all have fun.
How many families do you know that can still take a family picture like this??
Not many!
They all look like they are having a good time and they are standing next to each other!

Grandpa Doc ~ Showing us how it is done.

DJ doing his best to do the same.

Again ~ I love all of my family.
What a great Christmas.
Thank you for sharing it with me.
